“Let the good times roll” Optimism and futurism. The fire of life in vivid colours. The glamour, the fortune, the fame.
20th century pop-culture is a huge part of who I am, as such it is seen in what I create. From the mid-century modern off-setdesigns to the Delmar sparkles, and faux tortoise shell, to the great actors and leading ladies that inspire the names of each of my guitars. These icons inspired me to make music, films and guitars.
I do all of this in Spain, the birthplace of the modern guitar, which is why I always place a little herringbone accent in the Spanish guitar makers tradition, somewhere on each guitar.
 Finally I place a little reminder of home, Argentina, the place where I was born. The national symbol of the Coral tree flower has been adapted and merged with fire to create my personal icon, found on every Diego Vila Guitar.
 Inspired by those who inspired me, I hope to pass on this flame of inspiration to you.
